This is an hint to visit the center of Rome.

By public transportation

Prerequisites

• download the Moovit app for your smartphone. It says what is the best trip for your destination, with timetables, and assisted trip.
• buy the ticket at Bar, in front of train station Magliana. 1,5 Euro for 1h 15 min of trip. Children tall less 1 meter don't pay.
• download the Palmipedo audioguide app.

Roma Pass

Simple trip

Direction Piazza Venezia

• you have to take the train at Magliana Station (binario 2) for 2 stops (Trastevere station).
• Here take tram n.8, direction Largo Argentina, until the end of line.
• walk to Piazza Venezia

Direction Colosseo

• you have to take the train at Magliana Station (binario 2) for 3 stops (Ostiense station).
• here go to Underground Piramide Station
• here take the underground B (Metro B) to Termini direction.
• go out at Colosseo. Follow the instructions from the second point.

Walk in the center of Rome, the center of ancient world

• From Piazza Venezia go to Via dei Fori Imperiali, where is possible to see the ruin of Roma.
• Go to Colosseo (Piazza del Colosseo)
• Turn right to Via Celio Vibenna and Via di San Gregorio
• Turn right to Via dei Cerchi and see Circo Massimo
• Turn right to Via di San Teodoro
• Follow Foro Romano
• At Piazza della Consolazione you can go up Via Monte Tarpeo, where you can see all the Foro Romano
• go forward until Piazza del Campidoglio, you are on the ancient hill of Rome
• go down the stairs for see Piazza Venezia

Shopping, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna

• Go in front of Altare della Patria at Piazza Venezia, to Via del Corso
• Turn right to Via dei Sabini and follow to Via dei Crociferi
• Go to Fontana di Trevi
• Return to Via del Corso
• Turn right to Via del Corso
• Turn right to Via Frattina
• Go to Piazza di Spagna and Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti
• Turn left to Via del Babuino
• Go to Piazza del Popolo
• Return to Via del Corso
• Turn right to Piazza Colonna
• Go forward to Piazza di Montecitorio (Italian Congress)
• Turn left to Obelisco
• Go to Piazza Capranica
• Go to forward to Via delle Colonnelle
• Turn left to Via del Pantheon
• Go to Piazza della Rotonda
• Enter in Pantheon
• Go to Via della Minerva
• Go to Via dei Cestari
• In Largo di Torre Argentina you can take the tram n. 8

Isola Tiberina and Trastevere

Following the previous walk:

• From Largo Torre Argentina go to Via Arenula
• Go to Ponte Garibaldi
• Go to Isola Tiberina
• From Ponte Garibaldi
• Go to Piazza Sonnino
• Turn right to Via della Lungaretta
• Go to Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere
• Follow the people and lost you in Trastevere

Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, San Pietro (Vaticano) and Castel Sant'Angelo

• From Largo Argentina go to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (you can take 64 bus for 1 stop)
• Turn left on Via dei Baullari
• Go to Campo de Fiori
• Return to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II
• Go to Piazza San Pantaleo
• Go to Via della Cuccagna
• Go to Piazza Navona. You have absolutely to enter in "Il Sogno" toy shop.
• Return to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (you can take n.64 bus for 5 stop until trespassing the Tevere river)
• Go forward to Ponte Emanuele
• Turn right to Castel Sant'angelo
• Go to Via della Conciliazione
• Go to Piazza San Pietro
• You can back home taking FL3 train from Stazione San Pietro to Trastevere, and you can take FL1 direction Fiumicino. You have to stop to Magliana.
